Consultation on the South East England Strategy

Stakeholder survey

In July 2009, Partnership Board officers undertook a short survey of key individuals who were either involved at a technical level in the production of the South East Plan and Regional Economic Strategy (RES), and officers whose organisations are a key target audience for these documents.

Our web-based survey asked questions about the value added by the South East Plan and Regional Economic Strategy and the documents' structure and format, as well as future stakeholder engagement. The survey did not cover the content of the strategies or of individual policies within them.

The results of the technical survey will help us understand the successes of the two strategies and where there may be room for improvement, as the Partnership Board looks forward to developing a new Regional Strategy for the South East. The survey was emailed to 350 individuals, of whom 96 (27%) responded.
