Housing and Regeneration
The Regional Housing and Regeneration Board is tasked with monitoring progress against the regional housing strategy and agreeing regional priorities to inform advice to Government on funding.
The Board believes the South East region needs to:
- Build more affordable homes
- Bring decent housing within reach of people on lower incomes
- Improve the quality of new and existing homes
- Provide more housing for essential lower-paid workers.
- Bring about economic benefits to the region through regeneration
These regional priorities are reflected in shaping the Regional Strategy. To carry these objectives forward the Partnership Board works with partners across South East England, in particular the Regional Housing and Regeneration Board (RHRB).
