Cllr Robertson has been county councillor for Witney East Division since 2001. He is deputy leader Oxfordshire County Council, chairman of Oxfordshire Highways and board member of Science Vale UK and Witney Educational Foundation. He is also chairman of the Public Service Board Oxfordshire. Cllr Robertson has lived in Witney since 1987 and is married with two children and two grandchildren.

Mark Pearson has a background spanning both public and private sectors and has been involved in economic development at delivery and strategic levels for over 16 years, both in the North West and South East of England. Mark has worked for sub-regional economic partnerships for six years, and is currently the chief executive of Surrey Economic Partnership.

He is a member of the Institution of Economic Development, a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, and a fellow of the RSA (Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce), and a member of the Federation of Small Business.

Susan joined the Government Office for the South East in March 2007 and is responsible for the Transport, Low Carbon and Natural Environment portfolios as well as the Thames Valley. Prior to her appointment Susan was a Bid Director with FirstGroup plc and was previously a Regional Director for the Strategic Rail Authority.  

Susan has extensive experience of private public partnerships and programme management, which she deployed in a variety of roles with KPMG and with WS Atkins.   Amongst others, her experience spans transport, environmental, chemical, telecommunications and defence sectors.  She holds a degree in Natural Sciences, is a Chartered Chemist and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Robert, based in Kent, is chief executive of Dover Harbour Board. He joined Dover Harbour Board after a long career in the aviation industry, holding  ositions as airport director at Shannon International Airport, managing director at Teesside International Airport and airport manager at Inverness Airport.

He has also worked in Asia as the manager of operations and technical administration at Hong Kong International and in the Middle East for the Ministry of Defence in various operational and management roles.

Tony has been a member of Reading Council since 1973, at present he is deputy leader of the council and holds the cabinet portfolio for strategic planning and transport. He was chair of Reading Buses, one of 14 remaining council owned bus companies, from 1986 until 2005. Tony has represented the council on the Local Government Association since 1997 and is a member of its Transport Board. He leads the LGA team on the Ministerial Bus Partnership Forum. Since 1997 Tony has represented Reading on the Thames Valley Police Authority, as well as serving on the Association of Councils of the Thames Valley Region.

Cec has been a member of Milton Keynes Council since 1993 and was previously a councillor in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. Cec represented Milton Keynes Council on the old Regional Assembly from 2002-2009, and was lead member for the Liberal Democrat Group and vice chair of the Assembly from 2003-2006. He was also member of the Assembly's Executive and Scrutiny Committees, and the Joint Europe Committee. He is currently a member of the Regional Transport Board. He is the chair of Milton Keynes Council Licensing and Regulatory Committees. He was the cabinet member for resources on Milton Keynes Council 2002-07.

Cec represents Milton Keynes on the Local Government Association and the Buckinghamshire Fire Authority. He is a member of the Council of Europe Congress of Local and Regional Authorities. He is a former chair of the Liberal Democrat Regional Party. Cec‘s professional background is in human resources.

Paul has been in district and county politics for over 20 years and is currently leader of Dover District Council. During this time he has been a Kent County councillor and former chairman and treasurer of the Dover and Deal Conservative Association. He was the parliamentary candidate for the Conservative Party in the 2005 election and had previously fought two general elections. Paul is also chairman of the South East Strategic Partnership for Migration and secretary to the South East England Councils. Paul is a former registered nurse and selfemployed businessman with retail property interests.
Among other activities he has held a range of governorships within the primary, secondary and further education sector and was formally a member of the Court of the University of Kent.
